Inshore saltwater

Unspecific outlook – Inclement weather has kept people off the water the last few days. Forecasts suggest an end to the high winds and heavy rains so expect fishing to pick up as well. The fish are out there, but the ride out needs to cooperate.

Delacroix Isle <<fishgood>>

Redfish, trout and bass. Unexcelled spots: Lake Campo, Lake Leary, Grand Lake. Trout seem to be moving toward Black Bay. Best Baits: Live shrimp, clear phony H&H cockahoes (Jade Moon), Dead shrimp under a cork.

Hopedale <<fishgood>>

Specks, white trout, sheepshead, drum, blunder, redfish. Best spots: The Rocks, Bay Eloi, Lake of Two Trees, Lake Machias, Breton Robust rigs, Christmas Camp. Best baits: Live and dead shrimp, croakers

Reggio <<fishgood>>

Reds, flounders, specks. Nicest spots: Lake Amadee, Bayou Batolo, Bayou Robin, Reggio Canal, Bayou Juanita, Bayou Lachote Most excellently Baits: Live shrimp, sparkled beetles (clear/chartreuse)
