July 9th Lighting in Bar Harbor, Maine Will Classify WWII Battle of the Bulge Veterans and Commemorate Giving "The Christmas They Never Had"

BAR HARBOR, Maine, June 27, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today Wreaths Across America announced the highlight of its July 9th Occasion Event in Bar Harbor will be the lighting of a perpetually lit Christmas Tree to honor all servicemen and women - done, present, future and regardless of creed or religion - who find themselves away from family and friends during the holidays.

The lighting of the Tree and story of giving "the Christmas they never had" was inspired by 86-year-old veteran Sir Stanley Wojtusik, a WWII con of war and survivor of the Battle of the Bulge.

The evening ceremony will be attended by Wojtusik and other Fracas of the Bulge veterans as well as active and retired service men and women from around the country.  Also attending the lip-service will be Molly Morel, President of the American Gold Star Mothers, a federal organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in service of our Country. The USO's Liberty Bells singing corps and others will be providing entertainment.

-THE Book Dinner party. McLean neighbors recently opened their tony Langley Farms almshouse  to  former Sen. Bob Graham, Sen Jay Rockefeller, and McLean neighbors Sen. Patrick Leahy and Terry McAuliffe. The result: book party for Graham, according to The Washington Post.

The book "Keys To The Domain" which the Post described as a 9/11 thriller, also involved another McLean neighbor, the CIA, which cleared the order.

Greg and Lynne O'Brien hosted the party at their Langley Lane household. Greg O’Brien is Chief Executive Officer of Brokerage, Americas for Jones Lang LaSalle.

Washingtonian Periodical wrote about their home when they bought it in May 2010 for $3.9 mil. (Now assessed for $3.5 mil) The 7,000 equilateral foot stone house has seven bedrooms, five baths and nine fireplaces.
